Congratulations to Professor Verusia Chetty, academic Leader of Teaching and Learning in the School of Health sciences, who made us proud last week. Professor Chetty was awarded 1st runner up in the Department of Science and Technology South African Women in Sciences Awards, in the Distinguished Young Women Humanities and Social Sciences category. The glittering event was held at The BoardWalk, Port Elizabeth and hosted by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology; Dr Blade Nzimande.
