Research Interests: Rehabilitation for people living with Spinal Cord Injuries and disability, Public Health and Community Based Rehabilitation

Topic Of Dissertation: Development of a multi-disciplinary model to improve employment outcomes in people living with spinal cord injuries (PLWSCI) in South Africa

Biosketch: Mr Pefile has a BSC in Physiotherapy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from Wits, as well as a Master of Science in Medical Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Knowledge Management from Stellenbosch University. He has worked as a Physiotherapist in Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital; a lecturer at MEDUNSA; a Disability Consultant at Proactive Health Solutions; a Senior Tutor at UKZN; a Knowledge Management Consultant at Proactive Health Solutions and is currently a lecturer in Physiotherapy at UKZN. 

Mr Pefile is registered with the South African Society for Physiotherapists and the Health Professions Council of South Africa
