The Public Relations team in the College is responsible for the provision of expert public relations services to all Schools and the College admin office. This includes events management; expert advice on the coordination of conferences; design, layout and content provision for the production of publications; design and content for advertorials and advertisements; web management; alumni and stakeholder relations; the management of the CHS social media groups; strategic student recruitment activities as per College strategy; conceptualization and implementation of new PR initiatives in line with the College strategic initiatives; implementation of the College Communications Strategy and the writing of articles for both the internal and external press.
The PR team facilitates media queries received from the University’s spokesperson’s office (ie. the Executive Director: Corporate Relations) and through consultation with College management and/or CHS academics provides written responses on issues raised in the media.
The PR Team is also responsible for rolling out and emphasizing the University’s REACH values in all campaigns for staff and students.
