Students currently studying for a degree:
University of Technology and TVET Colleges undergraduate programmes are not considered.
Augmented programmes are only considered once two years of study has been completed
Applicants who had failed a module or had supplementary exams in the course of their studies are not accepted
The aggregate marks for all passed modules are considered for the ranking of applicants.

Degree Completes Transfers
University of Technology and TVET Colleges undergraduate programmes are not considered.
Masters and Doctors degrees in health sciences related qualifications from a University of Technology are eligible.
Aggregate marks for all modules for the degree are considered for ranking of applicants.

General
South African applicants who have completed the Cambridge examinations are not eligible for selection.
Applicants who have completed the School of Tomorrow examination are not eligible for selection
International Applicants
International applicants must have a complete exemption which has been evaluated by Universities South Africa (USAF previously known as HESA).
