The UKZN Clinical Trials Unit supports researchers in conducting impactful clinical trials for new therapeutic agents and medical devices targeting infectious and noncommunicable diseases relevant to our South African population.
We aim to improve the throughput and quality of original investigator-initiated, as well as industry-contracted clinical research, thereby enhancing UKZN College of Health Science’s reputation and impact on health in South Africa.
