  • University of KwaZulu Natal Clinical Trials Unit (UKZN CTU) is housed within the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine 3rd floor main building, Room 382 east wing.
  • Address: 719 Umbilo Rd, Berea, 4001
  • The UKZN Clinical Trials Unit supports researchers in conducting impactful clinical trials for new therapeutic agents and medical devices targeting infectious and noncommunicable diseases relevant to our South African population.
  • We aim to improve the throughput and quality of original investigator-initiated, as well as industry-contracted clinical research, thereby enhancing UKZN College of Health Science’s reputation and impact on health in South Africa.
