Topic of Dissertation: The phenotypic effect of mutation in the connection and RNase H domains of HIV-1 subtype C on the reverse transcriptase inhibitors

Supervisors: Dr M Gordon and Professor T Ndung’u 

Ms Mkhwanazi has a BSC Degree and a Master of Medical Sciences, specializing in Immunology, Virology and Molecular Biology. She has worked as a research assistant in the HIV Pathogenesis Programme at UKZN and at the Medical Research Council as a Project Coordinator.
