National Minister of Health visits the College of Health Sciences

National Minister of Health, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi and KZN MEC for Health, Dr Sibongiseni Dhlomo, met with diabetes experts in UKZN's College of Health Sciences and senior management on Monday 31 January to discuss the possible collaboration of a proposed Diabetic Foot Ulcer Project. Minister Motsoaledi chose UKZN scientists to analyze the efficacy of a new drug that would prevent further amputations of patients with severe foot ulcers due to diabetes.
