Inaugurant appeals to attendees to assist the Visually Impaired

2010/11/26 08:11:29 AM

Government, non-governmental organisations and professionals from around the world have been challenged by advocate for the Visually Impaired People in Africa (VIP), Professor Olalekan Oduntan to take decisive actions to change the status quo and have vision for people with little or no vision (sight). This was at his inaugural lecture held on November 24, at Westville campus.

“The visually impaired have many needs and are waiting for us to help... they are waiting for you, they are waiting for me,” he said.
